Suresh Kumar is an alumni of the Madras Law College and an active member of the Madras Bar Association. As a member of the Bar for over 30 years, he has represented several high-profile and reported cases. His field of expertise includes constitutional law, corporate, commercial litigations, environment law, real estate and arbitration. Suresh has appeared before all courts and tribunals on behalf of private clients and government undertakings.

Veda graduated from the prestigious Madras Law College and has close to 30 years experience at the Bar. In his wide experience he has represented the Union of India, State of Tamil Nadu and large private corporations. Veda has handled a wide variety of matters, disputes and litigation involving business, trade, insurance, commercial, property, corporate, intellectual property laws, energy and dispute resolution. He frequently appears before the Supreme Court of India, various high courts and most tribunals and district courts in the country.

Rajasekaran is a patent and trademark attorney having over twenty years experience in Intellectual Property Rights administration, prosecution and enforcement. He is a Mechanical Engineer, has a Masters in Business Administration, both from the University of Madras. He did his LL.B from Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai, and LL.M specializing in Business Law from the National Law School of India University Bengaluru with two gold medals. He began his career as an Examiner of Patents at the Indian Patent Office, Government of India. He is admitted to practice in all courts in India.

Johnson Neil, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 32 years' experience, specializes in construction projects in the UAE. His qualifications include Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying from India, and further studies in the UK. Johnson is a Fellow of prestigious institutions worldwide. He excels in pre and post-contract quantity surveying, tendering, and contractual matters, with expertise in feasibility studies, cost management, and dispute resolution. Leading a Dubai-based practice since 2008, he serves esteemed clients and conducts corporate training on commercial and contractual topics. Johnson Neil is dedicated to professional excellence and ethical practice, ensuring quality and integrity in every project.

Shuha is a B.Com.,LL.B (Hons.) Graduate from Sastra Deemed to be University. She interned at the Center for Innovation Intellectual Property and Competition, NLU Delhi as a Field investigator for National Survey on “Start-ups, Innovation & Intellectual Property (IP) and analyzing Innovation & IP behavior of Indian Start-ups. Her experience includes working with Start-ups, Angel Investors, Equity Capital and commercial contracts, international taxation, anti-dumping etc. Before joining us she worked in World-bank projects negotiating the terms of agreement and doing due-diligence.

Mitesh Ravishankar is a practicing Advocate in Madras High Court. His skills and expertise includes Arbitration, mediation, conciliation, negotiation and advocacy. He has been accredited by KFCRI as Associate at Arbitration Practice (AAP).

Amrutha Srinivasan is a B.C.A.L.L.B (Hons) graduate from School of Excellence in Law. She holds a P.G.Diploma certification in Environmental Law and Policy from World Wildlife Fund and National Law University Delhi. She is a practicing advocate in the Madras High Court with experience in civil, criminal, and commercial litigation. She previously worked with a senior advocate assisting him in litigation, NCLT and Arbitration matters. Her areas of interest in law include Environmental Law and Cyber Law. She is a part of the Litigation Team at SV&R.

After completing her Bachelor’s in Sociology from MOP Vaishnav College (Affiliated to Madras University), Abinaya went on to graduate Law (LLB) from OP Jindal Global Law University. She was awarded with Savitri Jindal Scholarship by Jindal Global Law School. Her areas of interest in law include Traditional Knowledge and Intellectual Property, and Human Rights Law. Currently, at SV&R she works in the Intellectual Property team, specialising in Design Law.

Safila is a Registered Indian Patent Agent. She is an Information Technology engineering graduate from Mahatma Gandhi University and an MBA from Madras University. She was a software programmer in a large multinational software company before becoming patent agent. She also teaches Patent drafting in her free time. Her experiences includes writing software programmes for a large software company which helps her to write patent specifications for computer related inventions and defend the invention before the Patent Office and other tribunals.

Harishma is an Electronics and Communications engineer; an advocate, enrolled with the Bar council of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry; a Registered Indian Patent agent. She has more than 6 years experience in Patent and Trademark prosecutions and practices.

Aarthy holds an M.Tech degree in Biotechnology from P.S.G Coimbatore with 7.3CGP, B.Pharm from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai. Before joining SV&R Partners she was a subject matter expert with Tata Consultancy Services. She works on pharmaceutical and bio-technology patents.

Kannan is a Registered Indian Patent Agent(IN/PA-3724), having more than 15 years of experience in the field of IPR. By qualification, Kannan is an M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Organic chemistry and has completed a Diploma in Intellectual Property law from the School of Law, IGNOU, India. He is well-versed in assisting companies with freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability analyses, novelty searches, and due diligence. In addition, he has experience in the prosecution of major foreign countries and has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting applications for multinational companies in the USA, Europe, India, and Japan.
